Reference librarians are available to answer questions and provide assistance regarding collections, services, and information sources available at Boston University and elsewhere.

Appointments are recommended for individuals seeking training or in-depth assistance. Appointments can be scheduled during reference desk hours, or during weekday evenings. Request research assistance.
The Reference Department also provides fee-based literature searches and Current Awareness Services for clinicians and researchers who want updates of the journal literature on a topic or field of interest. A variety of electronic indexes and knowledge databases are available for those wishing to do their own literature searching.
The Reference Tools collection is available for ready reference questions.
